good point ron. yes concrete floors in garages dont usually have any type of moisture barrier, so moisture can and will travel to the surface and your wood. is it a serious worry, probably not. but you made a damn fine shoe bench so id just attach some type of plastic buttons on the bottom of each leg and you'll be fine.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
