Fotodog Looks good Rick. Did it take much tweaking to insure that the angle was dead-on 45 degrees? I would be interested to see how the second one is constructed, in the photo it’s hidden by that gorgeous plane. I have the same one and love it!
Thanks Fotodog! There was very little tweaking. Lucky I suppose. It is right on 45°. Here's some additional photos.
The top rail can be removed if need be. But it plays a role ensuring the plane sits at the 45°. Hard to beat me Lee Valley's jack plane.
