Ducky, I didn't even start this project until I conferred with several MIT grads and I did have 2 professors stop during construction just to guide me. I've been assured it will 'serve' somebody well into the future. Yes, I have a tub that's
19 1/2" x 11 1/2" and a couple inches deep. I cut my plywood to 19'x 11' to allow a comfortable border and lay it in using my keen sense of dimension thus giving it a neat yet uneven border which fits the overall appearance. I do trim both long edges then square the ends to that edge. I use a 1/8" white side round over then ros the entire piece paying close attention to the cut edges to assure the saw marks disappear then apply my poly finish
