I call it a Charcuterie Board

Sorry Ducky, no write up because it's pretty much self explanatory.  Perhaps the most incriminating aspect of them is that I cut and fit all the pieces and super glue them to a piece of  1/4" plywood.   The first few I planed the plywood away then I realized it was just fine leaving it.   Besides the plywood gives the piece bulk and it's a damn site cheaper than resin especially when I sell them for $75
Almost forgot, tomorrow when the finish is cured, I'll drill it and install handles.

Lots of visual interest in that Dick! It's like a photo montage of wood!

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Great way to use up pieces - and end up with a great project!
There’s a lot going on there! Nice job.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Looks really cool but at $75 you’re making what,  $5/hour?
🤣🤣
😉
Really nice mixture of woods, some epoxy, and my favorite - the natural edge. This is quite a bargain at $75.
gary when your retired and just need something to do and it will pay for your hobby why not ? im thinking of doing the same thing. hell if my hobby is free im not gonna get greedy ! no one is gonna make a living doing craft shows !

Now that's a nice recycle combo recycle'... love that green.

I presume the borders haven't bee sprayed on and spatulad would seem messy... guessing some tub or custom temporary frame?  Did you do a dentistry course for extrication?

Did you use French letters in the latex mix to stop it being called a serving tray?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

This art of a whole different nature.  Love it.
Thanks for all the comments, I totally enjoy doing these.
Yeah, my labor rate would not support a habit at Starbucks
Ducky, I didn't even start this project until I conferred with several MIT grads and I did have 2 professors stop during construction just to guide me.  I've been assured it will 'serve' somebody well into the future.  Yes, I have a tub that's
19 1/2" x 11 1/2" and a couple inches deep.  I cut my plywood to 19'x 11' to allow a comfortable border and lay it in using my keen sense of dimension thus giving it a neat yet uneven border which fits the overall appearance.  I do trim both long edges then square the ends to that edge.  I use a 1/8" white side round over then ros the entire piece paying close attention to the cut edges to assure the saw marks disappear then apply my poly finish
damn, I think I just gave a short tutorial -  look what you've done to me ducky

Looks like we now have 3 "Professories"
