Template was made by tracing the crest onto.the mdf. Scroll saw removing the waste close to the edge. Then sanding it to final shape.
The crest was purchased on ebay, if I remember right. Have also got wheel caps and crest from the service manager at the dealer. Gave him a pen early on and later a box, He is a friend. He got them from repair scraps in.the body shop.
Hood crest of various makes can be found on ebay, amazon, body shops etc. There are cheap plastic fakes around also.
