Yours is considerably prettier than the ones we built.
I was asked to build 6 about 12 years ago. I got together with 2 more recently retired friends, one of whom has a very large shop. After some talking with the United Way folks, it was proposed that we build 25. UW got money somewhere and we started. UW decided to involve a lot of groups and individuals by making it a contest for the best decorated.
In his large shop, we were able to set up an assembly line. It took several days to cut and assemble. Then we spread a large tarp outside and I sprayed primer for most of a day.
The contest turned out to be a huge success. The 'houses' were placed over 2 counties. We had a blast.
Bringing this up in case anyone wants to give it a try on a large scale.
