You could have used a nice veneer lining, but then you'd have to make coasters.
I wanted straight legs... the supplied mounting brackets forced the legs apart.
Back in those days, available veneers were 6mm thick and rough textured (upcoming post)... but more so, the FIL was the CEO for Nylex... the name of the company says it all. .
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
