Wondering if the cut of the wood itself, flat sawn, versus rift or QS as to how thirsty the wood is...
I know bugga all about the properties of a wood (timber type), however, if its in a pub, I know it's thirsty!
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
