Snort. The Lucite thing resting on the band saw is a knife sharpener I built inspired of the $1,000.00 Wicked Edge sharpener. Guess I needed a place to put it, around the time I took the photo.
I have an Edge Pro too. It worked so well, I started wondering if there were better. The Wicked Edge sharpeners kept showing up in my searches, but the one I wanted was, as noted, a grand. Just couldn't go there. More so because they had limits, like issues with the blade clamp fighting with the stones.
To solve the problem, I built my version, using the Wicked Edge stones, but it clamped the handle, rather than the blade.
It works.
