Thanks gents. The size is 7” x 10.5” x 11 3/4”. It’s not too big since it’s for the bedroom, and was sized so that the metal can that it replaced can be placed inside if the boss thinks that’s necessary. Duckster, I had to learn about the relationship between inside and outside curves myself. As it turns out the formula is very simple: outside curve diameter minus stock thickness equals inside curve diameter. In my case, 1” outside diameter minus 1/2” side thickness equals 1/2” inside diameter. It seems obvious once you know but I was expecting something more complicated.
