I agree with Caroline, those toys to cheer the youngster post surgery is a definite win, and congrats on your ribbon for 2nd. Nice collection of toys there.
Is your community more rural, and farm based? Reason I ask is our home before this one we were rural, and the county is not a very big, or populated one, and entries for wooden toys and especially farm equipment are huge in number. While the county Dayton (Montgomery county is heavily populated) is in doesn't even have a place to enter something made of wood.
