I've got one of these with the angled handle, but mine has drop down feet at the front, and back that are just loose, and gravity has them fall down, unless they are sitting on top of the board. Anyhow it is the absolute best Jointer push pad ever made. I get a bit wiggly with the "Gripper" idea, no guard and passing your hand over the blade. I'm a guard using freak, and I'll use mine. If that cutter is covered, you really have to work at it to cut yourself.
