Boys and Girls,
We’ve had Pottzy’s
MICROJIG GRR-RIP BLOCK and my
MICROJIG GRR-RIPPER, this
MICROJIG is the
Golgilocks cross between the two, for when it’s too complex or too limited.
Before I start my crapola, I only awarded this item
4*... only because I have the other 2 mentioned above, and I need to debate whether to use this or one of the other two... otherwise it'd get
5*.
The feet are arranged in such a way that you can alternate between the two sides to ensure you miss the blade,
There are markings on each end that indicates the position of the feet (white), so you can deliberately switch sides to miss the feet unless you have a morbid desire to cut them off… just remember they are not replaceable like the RIPPER.
Those markings have some sort of different colour coding on each end,
which I believe you can use that to serve some purpose, but if you wanna know, don’t ask me… RTFM! here
MICROJIG GRR-RIPPER 2GO … I haven’t.
Similar to the other MICROJIGS, this jig has an angled, but non-adjustable handle
to coax the stock into the fence.
The doco brags it has 4 MATCHFIT dovetail groves for custom shop made accessories… you interested?... again, RTFM!
Though I have found the end grooves are ideal to add a “hook” on either end
but not at the same time… though you need to supply your own hook and hardware.
May the choice of which GRR you buy not cause you nightmares.
Thanks for reading…
