Thank you for the very kind words, everyone. I recognize a couple of names from back in the Lumberjack days. I look forward to exploring yours and everyone's projects as well as contributing more to the community.
@Georgewest the clock hangs on a French cleat and has brass screws tapped into the wood to keep it perfectly vertical for the pendulum movement. I didn't think it was a very good photo so I didn't include it but I have with this reply. I hope it clears up the visual for you.
