Damn JJ, I keep following in your footsteps.
I like the thought of rugged metal, however, I loathe metal swarf in the workshop... so I avoid it like the plague.
Had similar issues with those finicky knobs and made my alternatives using the laser and bandsaw for the grips,
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
