I am 79 and have been playing with wood since I was 16, mostly on a need it basis.
when the wife said she needs a place to put the dishes ,jack gets busy and builds a shelf , bunch of shelves or a china closet , when she wants it "here" I measure it and draw up some plans and do it .as you may have learned sometimes the plans have to be reworked (its called the school of hard knocks) of which I am a full time student.
I have been going to build an out feed table for my table saw but as my work area is limited and I have the same table saw as in the table in today's article ,I feel it would be better for me (my floor has a slight taper out the door ) with this table, the saw and the table top are always even.
