Pontiac convertible

Time ago I made a model from a Pontiac convertible from about 1962. But not one but eight pieces.

Made out of mainly Yellow Poplar. I also used some Beli for the seats and for the small parts Imbuia. The tyres are from Oak and the rims are from Hornbeam. Rods are Beech.

Also this time it was LittleBlackDuck who made a exploded view video.

Here is the plan I made and used.

Those are sweet and many details in the build, the Dealership is open for business. Well done, always enjoy seeing your models.

Wow.  The details are impressive.  And to see 8 of them!!  Wow is an understatement!
The videos are awesome - thank you for including the links.  Neat to see how you do this!
Looks great a fine job.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Cool production line,
poplar looks good with the Beli.  Never heard of Beli,  same family/wood as zebra wood?

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Made for an Octopus?  Be hard to see the smile on its beak.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

It is a cheaper Zebrano look alike. Almost no one will see the different.
