The owner tried to DIY this neck heel years ago, and used a foaming glue that expanded in the neck joint and caused further damage. This is before I started clearing out the old glue. It took several days, lots of steam, and patience with some razors/chisels/dental picks to get the neck joint apart without causing further damage. Now I’ll be meticulously cleaning off the old glues for another few days.
