Main Street to the Mountains

Another amazing project.  Wow!

Are you a one-man shop?
Great looking bookcase and cabinetry.   I like the concealed tape lighting and how you built the channel for it.  The slideshow video reveals some nice tips on how the pro’s do it.

Thank You my friends,

Yes Barb I work alone,   usually I am able to find one of my woodworking buddies to give me a hand on the installs.

Wow - very impressive.  Too bad your not in Missouri or I'd be asking to come sit in the corner and learn.

Thanks Barb,  you would be in the corner a long time,  I'm pretty slow these days,  and getting slower by the day.  lol
Well...I'm a slow learner 😁
I really like that.

This is you wall unit I like the most, has a real classy look with the natural wood and open lighted space.

True executive suite furnishing!
When you get here, I'll take one of those as well...
None of that Alder stuff though. Quarter sawn Walnut please.

The man in the suit has just bought a new car from the profit he's made on your dreams.

Ok
But you're going to have to pay me 3.00 an hour.
Plus lunch.
Great job Bently....the black accents and smoked glass take it over the top!

Thank you Dutchy,  and Mike
I appreciate ALL you guys.
Really outstanding.    Everything fits together so well.   Nicely done.  Great design.

You have scribing down to a science. Always a airtight fit up. What was Your method for the invisible seams?
Thanks,
Corelz,  Sorry to hear everybody is sick,  get better soon.
It depends on the situation,  but typically I shim the side in place plumb,  1/2" away from where it need to reside.  Then I use a scribe pencil set at 1/2".  I rough cut it, leaving the line, then turn it on edge and belt sand to the line.  Hard to go wrong if you don't go past the line.
Scribe molding is not in my vocabulary.

Hanging my head in shame.

I'll have to remember that next time I need to scribe something. Like when a guy told me to cut a floating shelf on a little but of an angle to avoid some sag.
