Goes without saying... Fe$tool is metric... and... Fe$tool rules!

Was the ruler cut with the laser?  That imperial hardware might render it just a tad inaccurate... or is it 6mm?

(Ignore by BS banter...) Love to see how others use/exploit their laser.

Could it be that the lines are on opposite sides when extended?

Cool either way!
Your sector puts mine to shame…

Knowing how to use a tool is more important than the tool in and of itself. - Ron Aylor

Not metric. Not imperial. No particular unit of measurement.
Medieval
The cathedral’s of Europe were designed using one of these, a pair of dividers, a square, and a rod.
The irony is using a laser to make a medieval tool. The circle is complete.
I did this one a couple of years ago with the Shaper Origin.  It's designed to use calipers to both set and read it.

Didn't look like the "Golden Rule" dimensions, however, I reckon Leonardo had a laser hidden in one of his drawers.

Cool 👍

I like your hinge better.  Mine is just a piece of brass tubing flared to make the joint tight.  It can still slip too easily.

Yes, that was cut out with a laser.

Phooey.... downloaded, imported into SketchUp and my computer immediately shut down... has an Imperial allergy... numbers were missing.

Importing into CorelDraw... the numbers were present but even the house lights went out.  The virus tried to convert my 4L cask-o-vino into pints and I don't have imperial glasses.

Even my Briggs & Stratton lawnmower takes 590mL of engine oil
Currently, more than 80% of B&S engines are made in American plants located in Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, and Missouri. In fact, the Kentucky plant alone has produced more than 70 million engines, while the Georgia factory is already well above the 20 million mark.
they even made a car many years ago.

Sadly now gone Covid being the last straw.
But I will keep my mower until it suffers a major failure then go electric, otherwise  just waiting until metric time kicks in!
