The Babysitter

Ha, back in the day when my kids were little I was able to fulfill a Fathers dream, to build his Son(s) a rocking motorcycle.  No cutesy looking rocking horse for my boys, no sir, it was going to be a Harley Rocker of sorts.

It was a fun project and I had lots of scrap wood to spare and other then the deckboards and handlebar being hardwood, everything else is plywood or softwood.

I made a bunch of plywood parts templated that I could use a pattern router to make extra copies.  Turns out other Dads wanted them too.

I never did get that chance to paint the one for my kids, oh how much fun that would have been.  Oh well, there is always the Grandpa round coming soon enough where there will be more chances.  I am sure fate will have me building a rocking horse instead, oh well, cest la vie.

With all the cool after effects available these days, I would like to see a cool light show built in, just sayin'.  ; )
