Father son project

This is a bowl my son and I made a few years back, he would have been 5 at the time. About the only thing I remember is that we used a dark stain that really made the grain pop. It’s finished in poly. In the pictures it looks really rough but in reality it is very smooth.
Good for a joint project, and quality time with your son. It does look like a very open grain that would seem to be diffucult to turn. Well done.

Main Street to the Mountains

nice project. so does your son still turn ?

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Thanks Eric!

He helps out on occasion Pottz. A lot of times he’s working on his projects out there.
That's where it really makes for a great day when you can spend tour time with your son and also finish a good project. A lifetime of precious memories for both of you. Can't beat that with a stick.
