I’ve been renovating our master suite. There’s an alcove where the original vanity was. It was built in the ‘80’s using particle board and pine face frames with a formica top. Mrs G communicated what she wanted and I built it. Almost all the joinery is mortise and tenon. This is all Cypress with a dewaxed shellac base and Behr’s poly finish. The sink is a monster with Pfister Masey Brushed Nickel finish.
The weird looking black on the front apron look bad in the two pictures but in reality it’s this:
It’s reversing grain around bark inclusions which look like a Seminole warrior.
