After doing many small pallet wood projects, I was finally given the opportunity to create a huge pallet wood project.
This certainly is rustic, it’s great! Any time you can reuse repurpose or recycle, everyone wins. It is a great use of space, well done.

Nice design! Looks great.
Hey, I’m doing a shelving project for a client similar to that with a steel angle at the edge. The finish on the steel is exactly what I’m looking for. How did you do that?

With the copper, I used a mix of 2 cups- vinegar, 1 1/2 cups- salt, and 3 tablespoons- baking soda (add extremely slowly). With that mix, and applying it twice a day, this was the result. Drench in water once you’ve achieved your end result. I cleared 4 times on each side to lock in the patina. Good luck with your project.
And thank you for the compliments. It’s been a labor of love.
Ahh. Thanks for the explanation.

Now that’s a creative way to finish .

Thanks Jim. This was my most hands on project ever. I challenged myself to create this project without any modern tools, so 265 labor hours later, this was the end result. I’m very proud of this one.
You should be very proud, it’s fantastic!

Thank you Thorreain. This one is still my favorite project ever.
