The base is a tree stump found at the bottom of a river in Vermont.

It's kind of like a more organic and rustic form of a Rispal lamp. Is top "grafted" to the root base? Very cool to find a root, but see a lamp.
i love rustic furniture and this is a fine example. good eye ross i think it might be two separate pieces melded together. not sure if we'll get an answer though since he's been gone for 11 years ?
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
