New saw, first box

Checking out the new to me R4520.
This box (tray) was a test of the saw’s general accuracy.
Leftover Cypress ripped to width, mitered using the saw’s blade tilt and miter fence, and grooved for a bottom.
Everything was accurate without fiddling, cuts nicely.

My BIL bought the saw thinking he would be building cabinets, closet storage and the like but plans changed.
Between selling my older TS and a sweet deal, I got this for $150 out of pocket.
He gets to use my Unisaw in the main shop at the farm.
Two happy campers.
Nice when things work out of the box!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

sounds like a good swap and a nice box.
