simple, well done, and useful, how does it get better ?  thanks for sharing.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Nicely done.  What angle did you use?  Looks to be in a perfect position.
Nice, something I need to make. Also interested in what that angle is, looks right. Not sure if my Apple is rotten, but if it isn't at a good angle for me, it's hard to see the screen.
so whats an ipad ? 😁

Thanks for the kind comments! The angle of the cut is 55 degrees, the width of the slot is 10mm or 3/8”.  With the iPad screen being at 60 degrees.
Oh, and the general dimensions are 9.75” x 3.625” x 1.75”
Is it finished with anything?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Finished in gloss spray poly
Thank you!

Also a 👍 for the simplicity!

Does it keep steady when the iPad is in portrait position?
Thanks for the details. I see one made soon for my I Pad. I've not used it much because laying flat on  a table my neck huts staring down at it, this would be optimal.
It works fine in portrait position. I made a previous version from pine that was quite a bit lighter, the xtra weight of the hardwood makes it steadier.
