Cutting board

New cutting board for me. Thought I would challenge myself with different design. Did some cutting on cut off sled, some on taper jig, some on miter saw and some hand saw miter jig. Truth is I was searching for best way and had to experiment a bit. Made jigs for glue up and hand planning and final gluing with band clamp. Finished with butcher block oil. Some flaws I didn’t catch until too late( too focused on the tiny details to see the big picture).  Thought often of Leonard Cohen’ advice about “don’t worry about the cracks , that’s how the light gets in”.
cool design and shape for a cutting board. i do see some of the errors though, but i wont say ! 😁

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

That’s pretty cool!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice design.   Executed well.

Well I'm impressed!
Though, really should be a serving board, table center where everyone can appreciate it and it won't get all knife-scarred up and hidden in the kitchen!

Nice miter work, not easy to fit that many angles 👍
Neat design!  I don't see errors. 🧐  Looks great to me.
Nice job on a challenging and unique design!
Thanks for the nice compliments and not pointing out the flaws. I was sure I wanted to post this, but worked really hard liked my design. Figured folks here might kindly point out how to avoid those in the future.
Wow...very attractive board!!
