My daughter wanted some more seating in her room and so she helped me make a bench for her room. I love working with her. Made with bridal joints and mortise and tenons. I don’t have a kreg jig so I have to do things the hard way hahaha. Also I got all the wood for free and my daughter liked the holes and wear on the wood. She said it made it feel like a park bench that’s had squirrels crawling all over it (I love her imagination too). Saved me from having to buy wood filler.
Good friends, good beer, good times.
Thats very cool. Looks great!

Time Spent Building a Bench with Daughter………..Priceless

To this day my daughter feels at home in my workshop as much as I do, the memories you create will outlast the projects, and if they don’t then you have some great furniture. You two did very well on the bench!
