Outstanding. What did you stain the poplar with? I use poplar often, but have never stained any…. Now you’ve got me thinking…

Did you use resin on your top or a high gloss poly? Yeah what did you stain the popular with? Looks great!

Thanks yall! Poplar was stained w walnut… Wanted the cedar to pop so I like the contrast. I used envirotex for the finish not really pleased at this point it was a big learning curve and I’m harder on myself then anyone else would be.

The combination of woods, stain colours, and high gloss finish make this really pop. Well done, it’s a fantastic table top.
