For a member of the rowing club, I made a medal hanger in the shape of an oar. The handle is made of a beech bar measuring 80cm/35mm. Before shaping the oar from glued pine profiles 35x16x4.5 cm, I drilled 35 mm holes for the handle. I shaped the oars on a band saw with a lot of sanding. The inscriptions were written with a pyrograph. I made the oar holders from oak, in such a way that one side can be easily lifted and the medals inserted. Everything is varnished with matte varnish.
