I've been playing with my scroll saw again.

I always wanted a sign like this for the front porch. Since I have more time than good sense I made one.
I used MS Word to make the template for the letters. The letters are black walnut  and are mounted on red oak all stained with Minwax Espresso. The finish is Gloss Spar Urethane. The small letters were carved with a Dremel tool. I couldn't keep them in one piece with the scroll saw. Need more practice I guess.
Some fine detail Sparky!
I can see some breaks in the name, but did you cut with those sub-sections in one piece or did you break it up further?
nice work i need to dust mine off and use it again.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

That's one tool I dont have.

Looks nice

The breaks in the lettering are from the pattern font. I used MS Word to make the pattern (Edwardian Script, 360 pt). That font has breaks between some letters and between pages at that size.
