One order from monastery to make 200 small wooden crosses for praying purposes. I soppose, they will be sold as praying souvenirs to monastery visitors.
They were made of beech, dimensions 12x6x1 cm. First main shape was cut on CNC router, than letters laser engraved. After that, I rounded edges on routertable with 3mm radious bit. Burned marks and sharp edges I sanded on spindle sander mounted on drillpress.
First finish was water based stain walnut tone. After first finish dryed, I sanded all manualy with sanding sponge. Final finish was teak oil, wiped with cloth.
