Ive got more photos to upload, as a new member I’m learning my way around… This is my second ever model build and these are progressive photos as I remember to take them.  This time compared to my last I have made all the pieces, I am pretty much brand new to wood turning, so this was my first go at making all the round bits aka steering wheel, great stick, headlights and of course wheels and hubs.  The Buils is complete and I will workout how to add more photos.  It took almost 3 weeks and a total of 61 hours.  I just need to oil it for final completion.  Oh and by the way it is a 1929 Ford Stake bed Truck…. Cheers Gary

Love the detail you and other modelers put into these creations Gary!

Elaborate work with the wheels and even the smallest bits like the shift lever and front bumper, sweet!

Very...

Dare I assume forstnered first and then hole sawed over the top?
Your rims are neat... very reminiscent of HTL... another unique model builder.

CNC, laser, trimmer/router or hand chiselled?

Just as an FYI....  You can add to your previous posts (projects, reviews, blogs or forums) by clicking on the 3 dots "...",

in the top right of the post... however, if you make changes people following will not be notified unless you add the changes as a comment... although making changes in the body and a headsup comment will alert them if the wish to revisit.

To the chagrin of many, I prefer to post long verbose projects... though few appreciate my contribution to curing their insomnia... a few members prefer to break up their project by a preliminary set of sequential blogs.
1. Select a new blog and for the first entry create a new topic or chose from existing topics.

2. Enter the new "episode's" name and the system will add the next sequence number,

3. After submitting, it will be added to the series that viewers can navigate contents,

The above screen is automatically set up... g'donya Martin...

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Dare I assume forstnered first and then hole sawed over the top?   You are indeed correct!

CNC, laser, trimmer/router or hand chiselled?  A mate did it on his Laser for me before I got mine.... I onlyy felt it right to use his seeing he went to the troube.

Thanks for the tips Alex I will use them next time.... cheers Gary  Next Build is the Road Grader, T&J one first before I attempt the Gatto ;)

Awesome pic post. Nice truck too.
Awesome work!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Regdop, FYI....

To quote  previous comment, cut (including the avatar) and paste it into your comment... edit it according to what you wand (delete unwanted text), then highlight what you want quoted and hit the double quotes in the command bar above the comment box... and voila,
