Wood is another favorite carving median. The two with photos are v carved from actual photos. The man cave sign is my shop sign, next to my wooden lock designed from Roy Underhill of the Woodwrights shop. On the music stand, the top was cut out on my CNC, the spiral leg on my router rafter. The jewelry box is Rosewood, carved from free files from the Vetric site.

Great work. I think the hardest part would be to decide what to do as a project. That’s where your creativity comes in.

Can’t take credit for the actual carving, the machine does that. But, your right, I have to do the computer work to feed into my software. At first I was amazed and watched the router carving for hours at a time. But now I enjoy the design part on my computer even more.
