Wife's Bowl Mothers Day Gift

My First Walnut turning . Walnut /Maple . This pushed the Limit of my lathe . I glued the lower 4 layers and turned that , my glue up was a little off center.I traced that back to Waste face plate ,it did’nt glue up snug I added the second section the top 4 layers with feature Ring ( Mistake ) I should have added 1 ring at a time and rough turned each 1 , it worked the motor Hard and Shook the World, but things smoothed out . this is my 9 th Bowl 10 inches width , 9 1/2 inches height . What a Lesson … I really liked turning Walnut , it was easier than I thought it would be.
