White Oak Bar

Here’s a bar I finished up a few weeks a go. It’s 72" long x 26" deep x 42" high.

I made the top first and then built it the rest of the way upside down. Making everything fit the top. A fll size template was made of the copper top that was made by another shop. I made the bar top fit a 3/16" set back from the copper top. There is around 28 different radius’s or so on this, I gave up trying to count them all.

Finish is once again dye stains and glazes with a laquer top coat. It was also wire brushed and burnt with a torch it places.

Thanks for looking!

Les,

You absolutely never disappoint! I love all the curves and the moldings and panels. Even the back is beautiful.

It looks like you’re working on a piecrust table in the background. Did you finish it yet?

that is one really nice Bar . I mean really nice , wish I had the skills to try one.

L/W it is a piecrust table top. No haven’t finished it yet. It’s just for fun not for a client. It will be a while but I’ll post it when it’s finished.

Thanks guys!
