Morris Chairs

I actually built this several years ago and built a pair. They held up well over the years and various moves, but the fabric we put on originally was no longer in our favor. Plus the supporting web I put under the bottom cushion failed so when sitting in the chair you would be pretty much on the floor.

So with moving into our new house in July, we have room for one of the chairs in the downstairs living room and decided it was time to repair and reface the cushion on one of the chairs.

I didn’t think I’d like the fabric pattern on Morris chairs, but now that it’s done I really like it and it gives the room a nice pop of color.
