I cut down a cedar and red oak tree. I had it milled and then squared it all up. This project was a blast and it was my first table!

nice, what finish did you use?

Totally unique table.
just wondering what you did with the banding on the end to allow for wood movement?

It’s a beautiful piece with very unique legs. I’m very interested in how you aged the cedar. I have several six foot, straight cedar logs that are 6" to 8" in diameter. I have striped off the bark and have them stored outside, undercover with spacer sticks to allow air movement. Any hints as to how to insure that the 3/4" lumber I plan to harvest will be dimensionally stable? These trees were a windbreak that were slightly scorched in a grass fire a year ago.
