Walking Cane

Cane I built; it is a commission work for a Ladies Dad. The shaft is Red Oak; the handle is* figured Sassafras with a cherry transition band between the shaft and the handle. The finish is Tung oil on the band with Min-Wax oil stain in a Gun Stock color on the hard woods, topped with a clear Poly. She was well pleased with the appearance and design.
