The company I work for decided to do a silent auction, with each department making a themed gift basket. The proceeds will go to our charity committee to help provide Christmas dinner and gifts for 7 families they are sponsoring. Our department decided the theme of Breakfast, so I said I would make a tea box. Only problem was I was going on vacation two days after we got the announcement, and the gift baskets were supposed to be turned in while I was away. Due to the time constraint, I opted for a friction fit lid vs hinged, and I didn’t have time to attempt to take decent pictures. Made from Cherry and Walnut, with Rosewood splines. Finished in walnut colored Danish Oil. I’ve heard that our basket has had the most bids so far, so that’s pretty exciting.
Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
