Repurposed Crib

A client asked if I would be interested in repurposing her children’s crib so it could live on and be of use. I had not done this type of work previously, but decided to take it on. I really enjoyed this project. She also let me keep the other half of the crib which is enough to make an additional bench.

The end of the crib was cut in half to create the bench ends and arms. One side of the crib was used to make the bench back. I mortised the back into the back legs and doweled the seat frame to the back and front legs.
