I was asked to build a massive end grain cutting board and after double and triple-checking the required size and the overall plan with a client, I ended up spending several weeks working on this 24X36X1.75 Walnut cutting board with Paduak/Maple accent. I started all the walnut off as 8/4 and milled it down from there. Working with groups of panels until the final glue-ups was tough and next time I will use some new techniques, but the end result was fantastic and the client thrilled. For reference, the last photo shows my first end grain cutting board sitting on this one.
