First go at an end grain cutting board

After I got my planer and was confident in using it, I grabbed some Maple, Sapele, and Hickory and started an end grain cutting board. I think it turned out great, I like the angled edge, the slight lift the small feet give it, and the pattern. I was unsure after the first glue-up, so I only used part of the slices I had for this, the rest are waiting for me to play with the patterns and glue some more.

Nice pattern. These are the best. Good for knives. Great for any kitchen. Reminded me i need to recondition mine.
