Here is my Adirondack Guide Boat that I built in the winter of 2011. It is made with Spruce, Hard Maple, Cherry, Pine, & Mahogany. It was made the Strip method and took me 5.5 months. The finish is Le Tonkimois Varnish with 4 coats inside and out. It is a pleasure to row and can really move along in any type of water conditions.
Wonderful work and from what little I know about Adirondack guide boats it looks very authentic right down to the cane seat backs.

This is beautiful! Making a boat is on my life-list but I’m not sure I have the attention span to put 6 months into a project.
