This was one of my favorite projects. This is a solid cherry gun cabinet with no stain just satin clear coat. I made everything by hand starting with rough cut live edge except the hardware and backing. Backing is 1/4 cherry plywood. I always make 2 projects at a time. I figure if I go through the time to set up jigs and cutting patterns it saves time to cut out 2 of everything and then all I have to do is assemble the 2nd one at a later time. I gave one to my brother and one to my father in law so now they are considered family heirlooms.
