Walnut, I learned a long time ago as a musician that the tools you use are about 1% of the quality of work. I knew a guy with magic fingers that could make any old piece of crap guitar sing like a Stradivarius. Practically anything can be adjusted or repaired or tuned. Learn these skills and you’ll go farther than most with money to burn. Go fix that sled and make all of your own jigs. It’s good practice, frugal and satisfying.
