Wow, that Powermatic sure does look nice! Personally, the $$$ are finally NOT the problem, though my output/projects don’t really justify that much more of an investment. Frankly, I’m running out of room in the house for larger projects and such… 8-(

That being said, maybe I should downsize my “add-on” dreams to something along the Porter Cable dovetail system:

I already have the Incra Box Joint System w/Freud Box-Joint Blade (after trying the DIY route), and have found that system an enjoyable/easy experience. Truth be told, I really need to confine myself to smaller boxes/projects going forward, at least for a while.

I guess that sometimes a bargain (Grizzly 10% off) is not such a bargain if one doesn’t actually NEED it at the time… 8-(

That and the fact that my bike is parted out all over the shop and in the way, all so that I can rebuild the tranny (as I wait weeks for the correct part). Ugh…

Bottom line is that, YES, I need to “repair” my horizontal mortiser and pick another project to take advantage of that repair. Patience is NOT my strong suit!… ;-)
