I'll likely hang a beam with a trolley and a chain fall for the heavier stuff.  I can see some potential weak spots on the folding ladder but a bit better engineering can solve.that, I know a guy.  An elevator would take up too much floor space, heck, even a permanent ladder would, thus my interest in this.
