Got to be careful about the height of the ribs. I bought some "R" panels for a carport since it is thicker (heavier gauge) and has a wider span rating at 4' without any sheathing (doesn't require the tighter 24" spacing as used on a roof).
I wanted the same profile for the garage roof (sheathed OSB on 24" rafter centers) and they sent more of the "R". Problem was it had higher ribs than the original and wouldn't interleave. "PBR' was what I needed for the roof.
Of course it all depends on what was originally installed for a fit replacement.
